I’m Janese- a lover of catchy songs, good food and spontaneous adventures. I find myself indulging in these things frequently with the love of my life and my partner-in-crime, Tim Rivers. Together, we have traveled the world, created a home built on Love and nourished two children- Zara and Baby Gingerale (Our spunky two-year old is responsible for this affectionate nickname.)

Life is beautiful and challenging; constantly changing from peaks to valleys, plateauing momentarily, and starting again. It’s fun, chaotic and fleeting. Though short, my experiences in Motherhood have taught me that time is a precious gift, one that moves faster with each passing year.

I desired a place to freeze-frame my memories, transparently share my life as a new stay-at-home mom, pastor’s wife and woman of faith, to share snippets of encouragement that the Lord has laid upon my heart and to make the most of the precious gift of time He has given. Welcome to my blog.
